چکیده
Although ground robots have been successfully used for many years in manufacturing, the capability of aerial to agilely navigate often sparse and static upper part factories makes them suitable performing tasks interest industrial sectors. This paper presents design, development, validation a fully autonomous robotic system manufacturing industries. It includes modules accurate pose estimation without using Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), navigation, radio-based localization, obstacle avoidance, among others, providing onboard solution capable autonomously complex dynamic indoor environments which all necessary sensors, electronics, processing are on robot. was developed fulfill two use cases relevant industries: light object logistics missing tool search. The presented system, functionalities, extensively validated with Technology Readiness Level 7 (TRL-7) Centro Bahía de Cádiz (CBC) Airbus D&S factory working conditions.

Solid Freeform Fabrication for Autonomous Manufacturing of Complete Mobile Robots
Solid freeform fabrication (SFF) allows 3D-printing of arbitrarily shaped structures, directly from computer-aided design (CAD) data. SFF has traditionally focused on printing passive mechanical parts. Advances in this technology and developments in materials science make it feasible to begin the development of a single, compact, robotic SFF system – including a small set of materials which can...
متن کاملThe ARK project: Autonomous mobile robots for known industrial environments
The ARK mobile robot project has designed and implemented a series of mobile robots capable of navigating within industrial environments without relying on arti cial landmarks or beacons. The ARK robots employ a novel sensor, Laser Eye, that combines vision and laser ranging to e ciently locate the robot in a map of its environment. Laser Eye allows self-location of the robot in both walled and...
متن کاملDevelopment of an Autonomous Friction Gripper for Industrial Robots
Industrial robots become useless without end-effectors that for many instances are in the form of friction grippers. Commonly friction grippers apply frictional forces to different objects on the basis of programmers’ experiences. This puts a limitation on the effectiveness of gripping force that may result in damaging the object. This paper describes various stages of design and development of...
متن کاملObject Oriented Modeling, Design & Simulation of Industrial Autonomous Mobile Robots
This paper presents a graphical environment which allows modeling, designing and simulating autonomous mobile robots following ISO standard object-oriented paradigm. Modeling is done using a graphical editor that follows the object oriented methodology proposed by Grady Booch, producing an ISO EXPRESS language specification of classes and relations of inheritance and use. This specification is ...
